Education Austin is an activist union dedicated to improving the lives of working teachers in Austin. This includes being the voice of the teachers, increasing awareness of their social and economic aspirations, improve the quality of their teaching, and help support teachers in their time of need.
Education Equals Economics was formed to initiate a regional effort to increase global competitiveness, economic vitality and overall quality of life for Central Texas by aligning our education systems to better fulfill the potential of every citizen.
